Working Groups
There are several core working groups - with an additional workstream* in partnership with NZHIT - which consist of a group of professionals with health sector backgrounds who voluntarily dedicate their time and skills to the NZ Telehealth Forum. Members have specialised knowledge, skills and sector experience.
We value working closely with our strategic partners, supporting each other to achieve impactful change. The development of these enduring relationships allow us to achieve far more together than we would have achieved alone.
Each of the working groups are committed and focused on specific strategic projects and work collaboratively to provide constructive input, have an open exchange of ideas and views, achieve common goals and deliverables, and advise on project support. The working groups connect regularly to discuss responsibilities, tasks, and activities, as well as support each other throughout the project development.
The actions and outcomes of each working group facilitates progress towards telehealth innovation and potential for national impact, which embraces and celebrates telehealth as an efficient, safe, and effective means of delivering quality healthcare.
As of August 2024, many of these working groups and COPs have been merged. These are as follows:
+ Telehealth Community of Practice – this merges Internationals COP, Professionals COP, Clinicians COP and Cancer Care
+ Patient Anywhere, Clinician Elsewhere (PACE) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)
+ Research, Audit and Evaluation (RAE) and Data Standards (DS)
+ Digital Health Equity Network (DHEN)
+ AI COP (new COP)
